ODW Logistics announced that it joined the SmartWay® Transport Partnership, an innovative collaboration between U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and industry that provides a framework to assess the environmental and energy efficiency of goods movement supply chains.

ODW Logistics will contribute to the partnership’s savings of 144.3 million barrels of oil, $20.6 billion in fuel costs, 61.7 MMT of carbon dioxide (CO2), 1,070,000 tons of nitrogen oxides, and 43,000 tons of particulate matter, the equivalent of taking 13 million cars off the road. Carbon dioxide is the most common greenhouse gas, and nitrogen oxide is an air pollutant that contributes to smog.  By joining SmartWay Transport Partnership, ODW Logistics & Transportation Services demonstrates its strong environmental leadership and corporate responsibility.“

ODW’s goal is supply chain optimization resulting in cost reductions, efficiencies, and reduced waste. Our partnership with SmartWay is a great step to support a cleaner environment.
