John R. Ness is President, CEO, and owner of ODW Logistics, Inc. and affiliates. ODW is a logistics service provider headquartered in Columbus, Ohio offering asset based warehousing and distribution and asset and non-asset based transportation services to a diverse customer base. ODW affiliated companies include Dist-Trans Co., ODW Logistics and Transportations Services, and Staffing Leadership Group, LLC.
John leads a highly capable management team using a collaborative style that emphasizes leveraging strengths and experiences to move the company forward. A passionate entrepreneur, John led ODW through its first business acquisition in 2007 that significantly expanded the company's scope and reach. He has successfully launched four new businesses in the last five years.
Professionally, John has served on the Columbus Chamber of Commerce board of directors and executive committee. He is also a founder and Co-Chair of the Columbus Region Logistics Council. He is past chairman of the Ohio Warehouse Logistics Association (OWLA) and is active in the International Warehouse Logistics Association (IWLA), where he is past chairman of the Emerging Leaders Council. John is an active member of Young Presidents Organization (YPO).
A graduate of Wittenberg University with a B.S in Management, John joined ODW as Warehouse Manager and progressed in responsibilities working in various capacities in Operations, Sales & Marketing, Finance and Transportation. He assumed the role of President of the ODW companies in 2003.
Macy A. Bergoon is the Vice President of Information Technology at ODW Logistics. Macy is responsible for all aspects of I.T., including infrastructure, security, software development and overall strategy. As a Certified Project Manager (PMP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISP) and a Computer Science graduate, Macy uses industry standard best practices to support ODW's vision and growth.
Macy has spent more than 22 years in information technology in the areas of manufacturing and logistics. He previously worked with Goodyear Tire, Crane Corp., Mills Pride and Dorcy International. Macy founded Zendevor Consulting, offering his expertise as an Information Technology Consultant.
Macy is a member of the International Warehouse Logistics Association (IWLA) and participates in many industry groups, speaks at national security conferences and actively participates in various User Groups, Open Source events and collaborations.
Jeff Clark is the Executive Vice President at ODW Logistics. Jeff is the executive responsible for ODW’s, fleet operation - Dist Trans Co and its employment staffing business – Staffing Leadership Group. Additionally, he oversees ODW’s HR, account management and marketing departments. Jeff graduated from Purdue University with a degree in Management in 1986 and from The Ohio State University with a Master's Degree in City and Regional Planning in 1994.
Upon completion of graduate school, Jeff worked for nine years with the Rickenbacker Port Authority, operator of Rickenbacker International Airport and Grantee of FTZ #138, overseeing the Port Authorities air cargo and FTZ programs, and its business development functions as the Marketing Director.
He is an active member of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals, including being a past president of the Columbus Roundtable. International Warehouse Logistics Association, including earning this associations Certified Logistics Professional designation, and an Eagle Scout.
David L. Hill is the Chief Financial Officer at ODW Logistics, Inc. and its affiliate companies. He is a graduate of the University of Kentucky and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting. Dave is also a Certified Public Accountant.
Dave has an extensive breadth and depth of financial experience working with private and small public companies in the equipment rental and construction contracting industries. He also practiced in public accounting with companies in several different industries while at Price Waterhouse.Dave is in charge of all financial management reporting, tax reporting, risk management, financing and investor relations and oversees the retirement, medical and other benefit programs of ODW and its affiliates. Dave was impressed with ODW's commitment to customer satisfaction.
Robin Lynch has recently joined ODW Logistics, Inc. as Vice President of Human Resources. In her new role, Lynch will provide vision, leadership and expertise to ODW's continuing national growth.
Lynch comes to ODW with nearly 28 years of human resources experience including labor/employee relations, policy development, benefits, lean manufacturing and leadership development. Prior to joining ODW, Lynch was the director of human resources and safety from 2000-2011 at Crane Plastics Siding LLC, and held several other roles within the Crane Plastics Company's Human Resources department.
She received her BA in business administration from Ohio Dominican University and her AA in business management from Columbus State Community College. Lynch also holds extensive certifications from the Bureau of Workman's Compensation and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration. She volunteers for many community organizations including Operation Feed, Habitat for Humanity, Boy Scouts of America and the Franklin County Christmas for Children Program.
Jon Petticrew is a graduate of Adrian College, Adrian, MI, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. His career began at Fruehauf Trailer Corporation where he held numerous positions in Accounting and Distribution Operations. Jon has also held senior supply chain positions with American Standard and Newell Rubbermaid. Jon is an active member of both the International Warehouse Logistics Association (IWLA) and the Warehousing Education and Research Council (WERC), and has presented at conferences both regionally and nationally. He is also an honored member in the Athletic Hall of Fame at Adrian College in Michigan, as well as involved in various youth sporting associations.
As VP of Operations for ODW Logistics, Inc. and Dist-Trans Co., Jon is responsible for the day to day activities as well as the strategic direction of the operations.
Todd Alloway is the Vice President of Sales at ODW Logistics, Inc. Todd has been with ODW since 2004 and is a member of the senior leadership team that is responsible for leading the organization’s national sales efforts. Todd graduated from Ohio University with a bachelor’s degree in Business (Finance & Marketing) in 1998.
Upon completion of college, Todd spent 6 years at a national truckload carrier; whereby, he gained valuable experience working in the freight/logistics industry. Since his start at ODW, he has worked in many key areas of the company, including freight dispatch, operations management and transportation/warehouse sales.
He is currently Vice-President of Membership for the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals and an active member of CRACA (Columbus Region Air Cargo Association). In 2015, Todd earned the IWLA (International Warehouse Logistics Association) Qualified Warehouse Logistics Professional designation.
John Weber is the Vice President of Sales for ODW LTS. John is responsible for strategic implementation of ODW LTS sales initiatives and marketing programs. His duties also include fostering key client relationships as well as managing the direction of ODW LTS sales agency program.
John has been in the transportation and logistics industry with a variety of roles. He began his career assisting in the management of a private dry van fleet. For a number of years, John held the role for developing and maintaining sales agent program centered on third party logistics solutions.
John received his undergraduate degree from the Max Fisher College of Business at the Ohio State University majoring in transportation and logistics. John also earned his masters of business from Ohio Dominican University. John is a member of the Columbus Transportation Club (CTC) and an active member of the Ohio State Alumni Association.
Ted Nikolai is the Chief Operating Officer at ODW Logistics. Ted is responsible for leading strategy and execution for the warehouse, IT, and supply chain innovation teams. With over 25 years of commercial and financial experience, Ted comes from Exel, a division of DHL, where he was Chief Commercial Officer and led real estate, operations excellence, commercial contract management, IT, procurement, risk management and legal functional teams that supported the contract logistics business in the Americas. Prior to his CCO role, Ted was President of Exel automotive, engineering & manufacturing, and chemicals & energy divisions.
Ted graduated from The Ohio State University with a degree in accounting and is a non-practicing Certified Public Accountant in the state of Ohio. He is active in the Columbus community and supports fundraising efforts for Ohio State University’s James Cancer Hospital and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
Kerry Wilkinson is the Vice President of Human Resources at ODW Logistics. Kerry is responsible for leading organizational design, talent acquisition, safety and strategic leadership development within the organization.
Kerry comes to ODW with over 25 years of human resource management experience. Most recently she was Director of Human Resources at Sherwin-Williams Company, responsible for supporting 3 global divisions by leading international organizational strategy and design in Europe, South America and Asia.
Kerry graduation from The Ohio State University with a degree in sociology and has a master’s degree in organizational development from The University of Phoenix.
John Guggenbiller is the President and part owner of ODW LTS. John's vision has helped define ODW LTS as a dynamic player in the transportation management marketplace. John began his work in this industry back in 1972 as a dock worker for Cheeseman Trucking. After graduating from College in Fort Wayne, In with a degree in Accounting, he moved to Hamilton, OH and took a position with American Standard, a fortune 500 company. In his 33 years with American Standard, John held a number of managerial positions including Accounting Manager, Truck Fleet Manager, Customer Service Manager, and Operations Manager.
John co-founded ODW LTS, LLC and has assembled a highly talented management team to develop the foundation for a world class supply chain organization.
Dave Giblin is the VP of Operations for ODW LTS. His primary focus is on guiding the development of a wide scope of product and service offerings that help make ODW LTS a world class third party logistics company. He is highly involved in marketing, sales, and operations.
Dave is accomplished within the retail and industrial sectors of over the road domestic transportation management. While proficient across multiple sectors of transportation, much of Dave's time has been focused on LTL freight and freight optimization. He has spent a significant amount of time managing business processes, leading IT reengineering projects from the business side, and has headed departments on both the sales and operations side of transportation.
Dave has a B.S. in Marketing from Miami University in Oxford, OH and a Masters in Business Administration from Xavier University in Cincinnati. Dave has been in the transportation business since graduating from Miami. He is an active member of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals.
