ODW LTS, LLC. operates in partnership with ODW Logistics, Inc. but is not a subsidiary or division thereof. Transportation management and brokerage operations handled by ODW LTS are separate transactions from ODW Logistics warehouse activity and Dist-Trans, Co.'s asset-based transportation activity.
John Guggenbiller is the President and part owner of ODW LTS. John's vision has helped define ODW LTS as a dynamic player in the transportation management marketplace. John began his work in this industry back in 1972 as a dock worker for Cheeseman Trucking. After graduating from College in Fort Wayne, In with a degree in Accounting, he moved to Hamilton, OH and took a position with American Standard, a fortune 500 company. In his 33 years with American Standard, John held a number of managerial positions including Accounting Manager, Truck Fleet Manager, Customer Service Manager, and Operations Manager.
John co-founded ODW LTS, LLC and has assembled a highly talented management team to develop the foundation for a world class supply chain organization.
Mike Guggenbiller is the Operations Manager for ODW LTS. His duties include overseeing the day to day functions within the financial and operational departments. Mike served eight years in the United State Air Force as an intelligence analyst/supervisor. While in the USAF he received numerous awards and citations for his work and leadership that culminated in being awarded the Meritorious Service Medal by executive order from President of the United States for distinguished service. Mike received his associate degree in Business from the Air Force Community College.
Mike honed his entrepreneurship skills after leaving the service by acquiring the family farm along with his brother. The business has grown quickly and now is in the top 10% for agriculture income within the state of Ohio. He handles all the financial, marketing and regulatory aspects of the operation. Mike and his wife Jane have two children ages 7 and 11.
Dave Giblin is the VP of Operations for ODW LTS. His primary focus is on guiding the development of a wide scope of product and service offerings that help make ODW LTS a world class third party logistics company. He is highly involved in marketing, sales, and operations.
Dave is accomplished within the retail and industrial sectors of over the road domestic transportation management. While proficient across multiple sectors of transportation, much of Dave's time has been focused on LTL freight and freight optimization. He has spent a significant amount of time managing business processes, leading IT reengineering projects from the business side, and has headed departments on both the sales and operations side of transportation.
Dave has a B.S. in Marketing from Miami University in Oxford, OH and a Masters in Business Administration from Xavier University in Cincinnati. Dave has been in the transportation business since graduating from Miami. He is an active member of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals.
John Weber is the Director of Sales for ODW LTS. John is responsible for strategic implementation of ODW LTS sales initiatives and marketing programs. His duties also include fostering key client relationships as well as managing the direction of ODW LTS sales agency program.
John has been in the transportation and logistics industry with a variety of roles. He began his career assisting in the management of a private dry van fleet. For a number of years, John held the role for developing and maintaining sales agent program centered on third party logistics solutions.
John received his undergraduate degree from the Max Fisher College of Business at the Ohio State University majoring in transportation and logistics. John also earned his masters of business from Ohio Dominican University. John is a member of the Columbus Transportation Club (CTC) and an active member of the Ohio State Alumni Association.
Brian Karwisch is the Director of Integrated Solutions for ODW LTS. His primary responsibilities include day to day IT activities, development and implementation of applications and processes, and maintaining a strategic vision for ODW LTS through technology.
Brian has held numerous positions in both the finance and manufacturing industries. He has a diverse background, including roles in supply chain operations, sales, finance, and systems analysis. Brian has spent a number of years in a leadership functions, optimizing supply chain networks and using business intelligence tools to create customer efficiencies.
Brian has a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems from Miami University and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Baltimore. He is Six Sigma certified and is an active member of the Transportation Intermediaries Association.
Brian Woods is the Director of Compliance & HR for ODW LTS. Brian oversees the daily operations and procedures of all the truckload, intermodal and drayage operations as well as customer development and relations. Through his close relationships with both clients and service providers, Brian has learned a wide variety of logistics service offerings.
After receiving his undergraduate degree from Indiana State University, Brian earned a Master's Degree in Business Management from Indiana Wesleyan University. During Brian's undergraduate work at Indiana State, he also played 4 years for the Division I baseball team and was a Missouri Valley First All Academic Team member. Brian was selected as a Verizon Scholar Athlete in each of his 4 seasons and he also served as Vice President on the Student Athletic Advisory Committee for two years.
Brian is currently an active member of the Hamilton, OH Rotary Club. Granted membership in June 2008, Brian currently serves on the Fellowship and Attendance Committee, Board Nomination Committee and Rotary Presents Ad Committee.
Katie Giblin is the Manager of Client Services for ODW LTS. Her primary responsibilities focus on overseeing client supply chain operations. Her time is spent building and maintaining both customer and carrier relationships. Her mission is to drive cost from her customers' supply chain through creative solutions and collaborative efforts with account managers, carriers, and technology.
Katie began her career working in third party logistics, handling transportation coordination for a variety of clients. As her career developed, she took on the task of managing a team of logistics professionals with a background and focus on LTL freight. Her knowledge and experience with many modes of transportation allows her and her team to provide clients with a range of service offerings centered on the supply chain.
Katie received her undergraduate degree, with a major in Marketing, from the Richard T. Farmer School of Business at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. She furthered her education by earning her Masters in Business Administration from Xavier University.
Joe Lopinto manages the ODW LTS division responsible for the brokerage and customer service of van, flatbed, refrigerated and intermodal modes of transportation. He is also responsible for the Carrier Safety and Selection program for the LTS client base. Joe is a local product from the Cincinnati market graduating from Archbishop Moeller High School. He then went onto Ohio University where he received a degree in Economics before starting his career in Logistics Since entering the supply chain field, Joe has experience in all modes of transportation from both a customer and a third party perspective. In 2010, Joe received his CTB by passing the Certified Transportation Broker Examination through the Transportation Intermediaries Association (TIA), and continues to be an active member in the organization. Joe is also recognized by the TIA for his knowledge in Refrigerated transportation.
